July and August are the time when Orah mandarin fruit trees have the greatest demand for nutrients in a year, and it is also the fruit expansion period and autumn shoot growth stage. 

Field management:

1. There is a lot of rainfall at this stage this year, and the field water holding capacity is high, which can easily lead to root rot and other problems. It is recommended to use the Monband® DaTong® Balanced + Monband® MBT PULI-NANO(MBT SUS) solution or broadcast the Monband® GaoShang® Balanced granular water-soluble fertilizer to nourish and protect the roots, promote new roots, and supplement the organic and inorganic nutrients needed for fruit expansion.

2. For orchards with a large amount of fruit, fruit thinning should be carried out in a timely manner. Flowery fruits, diseased fruits and small fruits can be removed in batches to ensure the nutritional supply of the remaining fruits.

3. Combine fruit thinning, summer pruning and shoot release.

Autumn shoots are the main fruit-bearing branches in the coming year, so they must be kept strong and neat; dense and weak autumn shoots can be appropriately thinned out.
