During the high temperature period in summer, pigment peppers often suffer from "sunburn" (the fruit turns white due to sunburn) and "navel rot" (rot in the navel of the fruit), which seriously affect the quality and profit.

The main causes of this problem include:

Fruits are exposed to direct sunlight: Under high temperature and strong light, local temperature rises and causes burns, and the epidermal cells of young fruits are damaged;

Strong transpiration and insufficient water supply: Under drought conditions, plant transpiration is enhanced, the water supply of the fruit is unbalanced, and the risk of sunburn is increased;

Calcium deficiency: Calcium is essential for maintaining cell membrane stability. Calcium deficiency will reduce the fruit's resistance to stress and increase the incidence of sunburn and navel rot.

Nutritional regulation suggestions:

It is recommended to use Monband® KunKa® to timely supplement the peppers with calcium, magnesium and other medium elements. Lignin ingredients are specially added to the product to significantly improve the absorption and utilization rate of calcium fertilizers, effectively promoting the elongation of pepper strips and thickening of the peel, thereby reducing the incidence of sunburn and increasing the commercial rate and total output.

For land with heavy salinity, it is recommended to apply Monband® MBT PULI-NANO(MBT SUS) to improve the rhizosphere soil environment, reduce salinity stress, increase the absorption efficiency of calcium fertilizer, and ensure healthy growth of crops.
