In conclusion, applying Monband® MBT PULI-KE, as a base layer to black-skinned sugarcane can effectively promote root penetration to over 2 cm; increase bud break rate by 27%; and result in uniform and robust above-ground growth, without significant differences in seedling size, and with greener leaves.
