Strawberries are about to enter their flowering period, which is the golden stage that determines yield and quality! There is only a 15-20 day golden period for pre-flowering management. Good pre-flowering management results in a high fruit set rate, fewer deformed fruits, and larger, sweeter fruits. Strawberry growers need to make good use of this period and ensure efficient flowering and fruit setting through proper field management, laying the foundation for high strawberry yields.
1. Temperature and humidity control to awaken flower buds
Strawberry flower bud differentiation requires low temperatures (10-15℃) and short days (8-12 hours). If the greenhouse temperature is too high (>25℃), ventilation openings need to be opened promptly to cool it down. Excessive humidity (>80%) can easily lead to diseases and affect bee pollination. After rainy days, humidity inside the greenhouse may spike; windows can be opened in the morning to remove excess moisture.

2. Precise fertilization promotes strong seedlings and flowering
The period before flowering is a crucial time for strawberries to transition from vegetative to reproductive growth. Before bud formation, apply a high-phosphorus and potassium fertilizer (such as potassium dihydrogen phosphate) through fertigation, and foliar spray with boron + calcium fertilizer. Furthermore, during this stage, a method of applying light fertilizer frequently should be adopted to prevent an overabundance of fertilizer in the soil from affecting root growth.
It is recommended to add Monband®MBT PULI-NANO when using fertilizer. Monband®MBT PULI-NANO contains a variety of humic acids, which can chelate a large number of elements. While improving fertilizer efficiency, it can also promote the even distribution of fertilizer around the plant roots, achieving a strong root effect.

3. Prevent disease, protect leaves, and safeguard the root system
Leaves are the factories of photosynthesis and nutrient transport; healthy leaves ensure high yields. Remove old and diseased leaves to reduce sources of gray mold and powdery mildew. Leave only 6-8 functional leaves per plant.
