First, Temperature management.

1. Prevent late spring cold: Temperatures in the north fluctuate greatly in spring, so you need to pay close attention to the weather forecast. Before the arrival of low temperatures, spraying or irrigating the entire garden can be done 1-2 days before frost. This can lower the ground temperature, delay germination and reduce frost damage.

2. Promote germination: If the temperature is low in the early stage of germination, germination can be accelerated by removing the film to raise the temperature or loosening the soil to raise the temperature.

Second, Water and Fertilizer Management.

1. Water and fertilizer during the budding period: During the pompom stage, water the plants to ensure uniform germination and avoid waterlogging. Fertilizer should be mainly rooting fertilizer, supplemented by elemental fertilizer to promote the growth of new shoots. It is recommended to use Monband® MBT PULI-NANO(MBT SUS). Monband® MBT PULI-NANO(MBT SUS) is a suspension-type organic water-soluble fertilizer. Made with MBT©-Multi-Biostimulant Technology. It can provide a source of energy for beneficial microorganisms in the soil and improve fertilizer utilization.

2. Waterlogging prevention measures: If there is a lot of rain in spring, the drainage ditches need to be cleared to prevent the roots from lack of oxygen and root rot.

Third, Pruning and bud removal.

1. Re-pruning: Check the winter pruning situation after budding and remove dense branches, weak branches, and diseased and insect-infested branches.

2. Bud removal time: when the bud eye grows to 5-10cm. In principle, keep the strong buds and remove the weak buds, double buds, triple buds and buds in the wrong position.

3. Retaining shoots: When the new shoots grow to 15-20cm, determine the amount of shoots to be retained based on the characteristics of the variety.

Forth, Other Management.

1. Loosening the soil: During the budding period, shallow tillage of 3-8 cm is determined according to the tree variety and age to break up compaction, increase ground temperature, and promote root activity.

2. Prevent bird damage: Bird-proof nets should be set up in advance during the budding period of early-maturing varieties to prevent the tender shoots from being pecked.
