Cultivation and management methods of citrus in September

In September, citrus in Guangxi entered the fruit expansion and late autumn shoot blooming period. This autumn is slightly wetter than usual. Therefore, the growth of late summer shoot and autumn shoot is more vigorous, and it needs to be controlled according to the field growth. For areas without facilities, timely topdressing can be combined with precipitation. If the fruit is small, it is necessary to grasp the rising period and rise fruit in time.

Field management mode:

1.Small fruit(50-55mm) is recommended to use Monband®MBT PULI-NANO (MBT SUS)+Monband®DaTong® Balance, promote rapid and uniform expansion of fruit.

2.Large fruit(about 60mm) is recommended to use Monband®MBT PULI-NANO (MBT SUS)+Monband®DaTong® High potassium, promote uniform expansion of fruit.

3.Affected by the rainy weather, the late summer and autumn shoots of Tangerine sprout more and grow more vigorously this year. Branch growth will rob the nutrients of the fruit and inhibit the expansion of the fruit. For this, the base fertilizer can choose Monband®DaTong® Balance.Leaf spray can use Monband®FeiFei®2000 to promote the aging of branches.

Field management notes:

1. For overgrown plants, light pruning and thinning fruit should be combined.

2. Fruit propping work should be carried out in advance, rapid fruit expansion and wind and rain weather will increase the risk of tearing fruit branches.
